Both parents went to Bloom and met there. 3. How did you choose your major? Mom was a special ed teacher and she really enjoyed it so she chose to do the same. 4. Do you have a job? Yes. 5. How often do you work? 2 days a week and on weekends. 6. Advantages/Disadvantages? Advantages- Extra money and works at a day care so gets to deal with her field. Disadvantages- Not enough time to join clubs, homework can build up, time to hang with friends is limited.
Conclusion: From the data I collected, it seemed to me that it's pretty difficult to have a job while being a college student. They seemed to have trouble managing time and keeping up with homework. Both reasons for coming to school here related to their families, implying to me that family has a big impact on the important decisions we make in life. Both advantages were extra money which would be nice for doing extra things while at school for your downtime, though it seems they wouldn't need it because with a job, they don't have much downtime so it defeats the purpose.
